THE TURQUOISE
It is formed by the circulation of mineralizing solutions inside sand sedimentary or volcanic rocks. Over time, the light blue color with green shades may undergo alterations caused by external agents. It must be protected from cosmetics, heat and direct sunlight. It is found in the USA, Mexico, Israel, Iran, Afghanistan and China. Probably it arrived in Europe at the time of the Crusades, hence the name “turquoise” which means ``Turkish stone``. It brings luck to travelers.
