THE TANZANITE
A gem expert used these words to describe this stone: “Tanzanite looks like a sapphire would like to be”. It is a very precious stone, since it is considered a thousand times rarer than diamonds. Its name comes from Tanzania. Along the slopes of Kilimanjaro, in fact, there is the only deposit in the world. It is said to represent vitality and energy and it brings great benefits to the body and the soul when worn.
