THE WHITE AND BLACK AGATE
The name Agate comes from the Achates River in Sicily, now called Dirillo. The Agate has been a popular gem since ancient times, both for its beauty and its hardness. It is used as a precious stone, as a seal and as a cameo. One of the most famous deposits is the Idar-Oberstein, where the agate has been collected since 1548. It is said to be a protection against negative influences and it helps to identify the targets to be achieved.
